  • Do not eat immediately before your session
  • Arrive on time.  If you arrive in a rushed state it will take longer for your heart rate to go down and to relax
  • Give accurate health information
  • Report any discomfort
  • Allow some open, quiet time for after your session
  • Quiet your mind by focusing on each area your therapist is treating
  • Drink extra water before and after your session

Bodywork releases toxins from your muscles.  Increasing your fluid intake lowers toxicity by lessening the strain on filtering organs.
